Halo CE Mobile is the original Halo: Combat Evolved running in your browser. It takes about five
minutes to set up. Here is everything you need, in order.
Quick start
Install the app. On the start page, tap Install on iPhone / iPad or Install on
Android and follow the steps. The app plays full screen and keeps your saved games. (On a computer you can
play in the browser.)
Add your game. Under Game data, tap Choose disc image… and pick your own Xbox
disc image of Halo: Combat Evolved. It is copied into the app once.
Tap Play. The campaign, split screen and System Link work right away, without an account.
Make a free account to play online. Under Play online, choose a gamertag and a
password. Then in the game open Multiplayer.
Your disc image
The game files are not included. You need your own copy of Halo: Combat Evolved for the
original Xbox, as a disc image file (.iso or .xiso). Any version works: the full game
or a multiplayer disc.
Make the disc image from your own disc. We can't send you game files, and please don't ask for or share
download links in the chat.
Put the file on your phone first (in the Files app, or your Downloads folder), then tap Choose disc
image….
The game's maps (up to 1.8 GB) are copied into the app. Keep the page open until it says it's done. After
that you can delete the disc image file.
Nothing is uploaded. The game stays on your device.
The file is somewhere online? Tap Load from URL instead and paste a direct
download link (Dropbox, your own server and the like). Google Drive links don't work.
You can add several disc images (for example the full game and a multiplayer disc) and choose which one to
play. Each keeps its own saved games.
Playing online
Make an account. On the start page, under Play online > Your account,
tap Create account. One free account works on all your devices. Add an email so you can get your
account back if you forget your password.
Matchmaking. In the game: Multiplayer > Matchmaking. Pick a playlist
(Social, Ranked or Experimental) and Start search. The game finds other players and starts by itself.
Ranked playlists give you a rank from 1 to 50.
Custom Games.Multiplayer > Custom Games. Quick Join puts you
in the busiest public lobby; Browse Lobbies lists them all; Create Lobby makes your own,
where you choose the map, game type and settings, then Start Game.
Play with friends. Press Y in the menus (Tab on a keyboard) for your friends list: add friends by gamertag, join them, or invite them
to your lobby. In a lobby, everyone searches Matchmaking together as a party.
Chat. The Friends & chat button has the lobby chat, private messages and the
global chat with everyone playing. Please be nice.
Remote co-op.Multiplayer > Remote Co-op plays the campaign with a
friend in your lobby as player 2, on their own device.
Everyone online plays the newest version. When the app says an update is ready, tap
Update now.
Controls
Touch
Left side of the screen: move. Right side: drag to aim.
The buttons on the right: fire, jump, grenade, reload, melee, crouch, zoom and more.
The ☰ button in the corner opens the menu: aim sensitivity, the touch layout,
resolution, and Friends & chat.
Two layouts: Modern (like mobile shooters) and Original Xbox controller. Tap Edit
layout to move and resize any button.
Controller
Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, MFi and Backbone controllers work. Pair it (Bluetooth) or plug it in, then press
any button on it while the start page is open. It works like the original Xbox controller.

Problems
The start page says my device can't run the game
On iPhone and iPad you need iOS 17 or later. On Android, use Chrome. On a computer, use Chrome, Edge,
Safari or Firefox, kept up to date.
"Memory" error, or the game closes
The game needs about 2 GB of free memory. Close other apps and tabs, then open the app again (on iPhone,
swipe the app away first).
A level goes black or the game stops
Turn on Lower-resolution textures in Settings and data on the start page.
No sound on iPhone
Turn on Play sound when the phone is on silent in the settings, or flip the silent switch.
I can't join my friend's game
Make sure you both have the latest update and the same game (the same disc image version). Wi-Fi works
best; some mobile networks block direct connections.
I forgot my password or gamertag
On the start page, tap Forgot your password or gamertag?. It works if your account has an email
address.
Something else is broken
Ask in the global chat. To report a bug, open Settings and data > Show log, copy it,
and send it to the staff.
Halo CE Mobile es el Halo: Combat Evolved original funcionando en tu navegador. Prepararlo lleva
unos cinco minutos. Aquí tienes todo lo que necesitas, en orden.
Inicio rápido
Instala la app. En la página de inicio, toca Instalar en iPhone / iPad o
Instalar en Android y sigue los pasos. La app se juega a pantalla completa y guarda tus partidas. (En
una computadora puedes jugar en el navegador.)
Añade tu juego. En Datos del juego, toca Elegir imagen de disco… y elige
tu propia imagen de disco de Xbox de Halo: Combat Evolved. Se copia a la app una sola vez.
Toca Jugar. La campaña, la pantalla dividida y System Link funcionan enseguida, sin
cuenta.
Crea una cuenta gratis para jugar en línea. En Jugar en línea, elige un gamertag
y una contraseña. Luego, en el juego, abre Multiplayer.
Tu imagen de disco
Los archivos del juego no están incluidos. Necesitas tu propia copia de Halo: Combat Evolved
para la Xbox original, como archivo de imagen de disco (.iso o .xiso). Sirve cualquier
versión: el juego completo o un disco multijugador.
Haz la imagen de disco con tu propio disco. No podemos enviarte archivos del juego, y por favor no pidas ni
compartas enlaces de descarga en el chat.
Primero pon el archivo en tu teléfono (en la app Archivos o en la carpeta Descargas) y luego toca Elegir
imagen de disco….
Los mapas del juego (hasta 1,8 GB) se copian a la app. Deja la página abierta hasta que diga que terminó.
Después puedes borrar el archivo de la imagen de disco.
No se sube nada. El juego se queda en tu dispositivo.
¿El archivo está en internet? Toca Cargar desde una URL y pega un enlace de descarga
directo (Dropbox, tu propio servidor, etc.). Los enlaces de Google Drive no funcionan.
Puedes añadir varias imágenes de disco (por ejemplo el juego completo y un disco multijugador) y elegir con
cuál jugar. Cada una tiene sus propias partidas guardadas.
Jugar en línea
Crea una cuenta. En la página de inicio, en Jugar en línea > Tu
cuenta, toca Crear cuenta. Una cuenta gratis sirve en todos tus dispositivos. Añade un correo
para poder recuperar tu cuenta si olvidas la contraseña.
Matchmaking. En el juego: Multiplayer > Matchmaking. Elige una lista
de juego (Social, Ranked o Experimental) y Start search. El juego encuentra a otros jugadores y empieza
solo. Las listas Ranked te dan un rango del 1 al 50.
Partidas personalizadas.Multiplayer > Custom Games. Quick
Join te mete en la sala pública con más gente; Browse Lobbies las muestra todas; Create
Lobby crea la tuya, donde eliges el mapa, el tipo de juego y las opciones, y luego Start Game.
Juega con amigos. Pulsa Y en los menús (Tab en un teclado) para ver tu lista de amigos: añade amigos por gamertag, únete a ellos o
invítalos a tu sala. En una sala, todos buscan en Matchmaking juntos como grupo.
Chat. El botón Amigos y chat tiene el chat de la sala, los mensajes privados y el
chat global con todos los que están jugando. Por favor, sé respetuoso.
Cooperativo a distancia.Multiplayer > Remote Co-op juega la campaña
con un amigo de tu sala como jugador 2, en su propio dispositivo.
Todos los que juegan en línea usan la versión más nueva. Cuando la app diga que hay una
actualización lista, toca Actualizar ahora.
Los menús del juego están en inglés: Multiplayer = multijugador, Custom Games =
partidas personalizadas, Browse Lobbies = ver salas, Start search = empezar a buscar.
Controles
Táctiles
Lado izquierdo de la pantalla: moverte. Lado derecho: arrastra para apuntar.
Los botones de la derecha: disparar, saltar, granada, recargar, golpe cuerpo a cuerpo, agacharse, zoom y
más.
El botón ☰ de la esquina abre el menú: sensibilidad de apuntado, diseño táctil,
resolución, y Amigos y chat.
Dos diseños: Moderno (como los shooters de móvil) y Control original de Xbox. Toca
Editar diseño para mover y cambiar el tamaño de cualquier botón.
Control
Funcionan los controles de Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, MFi y Backbone. Emparéjalo (Bluetooth) o conéctalo,
y luego pulsa cualquier botón con la página de inicio abierta. Funciona como el control original de Xbox.

Problemas
La página de inicio dice que mi dispositivo no puede ejecutar el juego
En iPhone y iPad necesitas iOS 17 o posterior. En Android, usa Chrome. En una computadora, usa Chrome, Edge,
Safari o Firefox actualizados.
Error de "memoria", o el juego se cierra
El juego necesita unos 2 GB de memoria libre. Cierra otras apps y pestañas y vuelve a abrir la app (en
iPhone, primero desliza la app para cerrarla).
Un nivel se pone negro o el juego se detiene
Activa Texturas de menor resolución en Ajustes y datos, en la página de inicio.
No hay sonido en iPhone
Activa Reproducir sonido con el teléfono en silencio en los ajustes, o cambia el interruptor de
silencio.
No puedo unirme a la partida de mi amigo
Comprueben que los dos tienen la última actualización y el mismo juego (la misma versión de la imagen de
disco). El Wi-Fi funciona mejor; algunas redes móviles bloquean las conexiones directas.
Olvidé mi contraseña o mi gamertag
En la página de inicio, toca ¿Olvidaste tu contraseña o gamertag?. Funciona si tu cuenta tiene un
correo.
Otra cosa no funciona
Pregunta en el chat global. Para informar de un error, abre Ajustes y datos > Mostrar
registro, cópialo y envíalo al equipo.
